Microduino Sensor Shake

The Microduino Sensor Shake is a compact vibration detection module from the mCookie series, designed to add motion sensing to your DIY electronics projects. The clean white board is clearly labelled "SHAKE" and features a sturdy cylindrical metal sensing component with gold-plated contact ends for dependable, long-lasting performance.

Inside the sensor, a small metal ball rests within a special spring. When the module is moved or knocked, the ball bridges the two poles and sends a digital signal to your controller, reading 0 when still and 1 when movement is detected. With a wide detection range and no direction limitation, it responds to impact from any angle, making it ideal for burglar alarms, knock-activated toys, and interactive creations.
